You’ve probably seen her face graced upon the pages of KAPP catalogues or posters, but now you’ll see her face on the field behind a mask, giving you the lesson of a lifetime: Don’t underestimate female ‘ballers! Australias own Lisa “Hot Pants” Harvey is the newest addition to the Femmes Fatales Dye Girls, the very well-known all-female paintball team, and she wants to let everyone know she is "here to ball.”

 

Before hooking up with the Femmes, Lisa Harvey started modeling for KAPP. Though Harvey played the sport in the past, when she would go to tournaments she was only there to represent her company. Now that she's here to play she gets to do both. “At first it was all about T&A," she shrugged, "People thought I was only here to represent a company.”

 

“I listen to a lot of music,” says Harvey explaining how she prepares for a game, “I like Korn or anything real aggressive.” At the Las Vegas Open, she made her 5-man debut with the Femmes. She first played last month at Beyond 2002 with the team in a 7- man event, but Vegas was her first international event.  Now that she’s a player and not just a pretty face, Harvey says “It’s a whole new respect, I'm not some regular chick that comes here to look at boys, I'm here to play!"

 

Based out of Southern California, Harvey is surrounded by some of the top players in the world. She plays regularly at SC Village with the guys from Avalanche, Dynasty and SC Ironmen. “I’m just one of the guys," she laughed, "we go out and party.”

 

So, she plays on arguably the best looking team in paintball, practices with the worlds top ‘ballers, and has done paintball modeling. “My brother got me into paintballing," she explained, “I liked it right away, but I had to go back home to Australia.” The next time she returned to the USA, she was picked up by KAPP as a model and didn't play much.

 

Now, she’s playing hard core with the Femmes, while her brother, Steve Harvey, plays with the Bushwackers.  For now, Lisa Harvey is focusing on her play with the Femmes Fatales Dye Girls and getting better with each time out. If you want your very own poster of Lisa check out the KAPP website.
