World's First Hyperball Tournament

In the middle of England,
in high summer, 45 professional and amateur paintball teams from East and West
coast America, throughout
Europe and on to the Ukraine,
converge on the National Paintball Fields for the NPPS Championships. Awaiting
them, the world’s first ever, specially designed and constructed Hyperball
arena, with film crews, media from across the continent and WDP, whose idea it
all was. Hyperball had been born- set on a bordered soccer size base pitch,
sprouting futuristic permaplas defensive Hypertubes interlinked with tangerine
angular Hyperpipes. From the minute sweat broke and the first two teams
eyeballed each other at the stadium gate, to the end of the tournament 48 hours
later, there could be no turning back. Hyperball had happened!
