Living the Dream

My paintball career was a long rocky road full of wins and loses, but one weekend in New Orleans is my favorite paintball story. I was king for the weekend. It was the last year before the Xball world came to be. Every team had to real strong, with 5-man squads like Aftershock, Ironmen, Bob Long, GZ and Avalanche playing for high stakes. That weekend I felt like the paintball gods were looking over me. I destroyed everyone, bunkering 2 to 3 to 4 guys in a game. Oliver Lang, Mike Carthy, Arnold Francisco, anyone in my way. Saturday night before the finals on Sunday I was in the car about to go party with Ronnie Simpkins and Kenny Klamper when something in me said STOP. I jumped out of the car going about 20mph and started running back to my room and went straight to bed.

The next morning I crushed everyone down to the last game vs. Strange for 1st. I shot four guys off the field in 30 seconds and grabbed the flag. I took my mask off and got rushed on the field by all the GZ teammates. I lived my paintball dream at that moment. I have played on more teams than any other player on the planet. I reinvented the ways of cheating, coined the term RUN THROUGH, made hundreds of friends and enemies around the world, and all I can say to everyone out there is that if your not first your last. Be scared paintball world, cause the dream is coming and it might be your worst nightmare!
