Spyder Electra
So you’ve been playing paintball for a little bit and are ready to upgrade your marker but don’t want to break the bank. The Spyder Electra maybe just the gun for you. The Electra is ideal for intermediate paintballers, enthusiasts who may not be ready for tournament competition. With an interchangeable two-piece barrel, and an Anti Chop System, it’s a solid upgrade from a beginner’s marker. You can also change the rate of fire between four different options: semi-automatic, three round burst, six round burst and fully automatic. The Electra also has a rocking trigger frame with two micro-switches, allowing the user to shoot twice as fast. The trigger essentially works like a seesaw, with each end of the trigger firing a round. It rocks back and forth allowing the user to shoot with two fingers, hence the need for a second micro-switch. However, the Electra is not allowed in tournament competition because of the two micro-switch system. At a price of $179.95 at paintballwarehouse.com, you want need to clean out the checking account to get your hands on the new toy you’ve had your eye on. A rechargeable battery and charger is also included with it.
